Today was the last day of PDFC, and thankfully everyone’s classes were in the morning! It’s kind of nice to have the whole afternoon to just hang out and upload massive videos onto YouTube. :) Speaking of which, I LOVE my Sony HD video camera. Definitely a good purchase! (The following photos were taken with my Panasonic Lumix tho)
First off were the GSP’s again at 8am. I’m not excited for the day when I’m showing GSP’s and we have to show at 8am. But I had a great time chatting with Raven! She and Seven got Select again, ho hum. I’m thinking about going with her to the GSPCA National Specialty in May, it all depends on the arrival of LBD. The GSPCA show is the first weekend in May, which is probably going to be around the time when we get the puppy. We’ll see! Anywho, here’s their video in two parts (to shorten load time). Sorry for all the butt shots, the judge clearly didn’t have cinematography in mind when she picked her setup.
Soon after were the Borders and it was a good day for Harris! He got Best of Winners and seemed to be in contention for Best of Opposite Sex, but Dunkin took it. We were all surprised that Dunkin didn’t take BOB, but that’s the nature of the dog show beast.
Sandi and Coal went next and got the same as yesterday: Reserve Dog. She got some grooming tips yesterday and she did a great job! Just another example of how important it is to have a mentor. I’m so excited and blessed to have Marion and Wayne as mentors, plus all my other great dog friends. Sandi and Coal looked really good; you wouldn’t even realize it was Coal’s first show this weekend.
Last we watched the Irish Wolfhounds again. Laura and Steve were there with Drew, who won Reserve Dog. They’re such nice people! Actually I think all of the IW people were super nice. You gotta listen to the commentary on this video of Drew. It has nothing to do with Drew, but it’s hilarious.
