I never thought I would see the day, but it’s come: I actually enjoy stripping Wally. Now that I’ve become proficient at it I see it as more of an opportunity than a chore. Well, it’s still a chore. But it’s not as MUCH of a chore. :) Except when you have broken triceps, then you have to take measures to keep things together.
Rolling or stripping the coat is like sculpting: you can carve away hair to reveal things that are otherwise unseen, or you can the mold hair to make an area look even better. I also love seeing Wally with a stripped coat and all of his muscles rippling under the surface. Not to mention that a good stripping lays the foundation for a good coat to grow in, and I’m feeling really good about this one!
